I am Jun Hyeong Kim, currently a Ph.D. student in the MLAI Lab at KAIST, advised by Professor Sung Ju Hwang. I earned my M.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence at Seoul National University, where I conducted research under the guidance of Professor Sun Kim in the Bio & Health Informatics (BHI) Lab. Before that, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering & Biotechnology at Yonsei University.
My primary research focuses on integrating biomedical knowledge into large language models to support reasoning on complex biological relationships, through approaches such as knowledge graph integration and retrieval-augmented generation. More recently, I have become interested in using AI to model and predict complex biological processes, particularly cellular responses and interactions.
